Frequently Asked Questions
Registration
*All Registration is done through your school district or park and rec. You can register online or in person at your community education office.
*Anyone is welcome to sign up for classes. You do not need to be a part of the school district to register.
What to Wear or Bring
*Students can wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Anything you have at home is perfect!
*Students can bring a water bottle to class.
Process
*Students will stay on school campus for dance. Their classroom teacher will direct them to dance space. The dance instructor will stay with them during class. After dance the instructor will bring them to aftercare or out front for parent pick up.
*No School Days=No Afterschool Programs
Pick Up
*Please be on time for pick up. The dance instructors do have other classes to teach and we wouldn't want them to be late to their next class.
*After class Dancers will be walked to aftercare and out front by office for parent pick up.
Performance
Performance
*Performance will be on the last day of class. Come 30 minutes after the release of school to see what they have learned!
*Dancers arrive at normal time afterschool for a rehearsal before family and friends arrive.
*Check in at the office and they will direct you where to go
Performance Outfit
*Performance Outfits; Dancers can wear white, black, pink, or sparkle shirts with black bottoms and comfortable shoes. Add a fun accessory if you would like...scarf, headband, bow, tie, bandanna, tutu, bracelets, necklaces, hats, or tie a shirt around their waist.
*Kyrene Schools wear dance shirt with black bottoms and comfortable shoes.
